Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medical Unit

Position Summary

  • Assist in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Participates in the assessment of patients. 
  • Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating/revising the plan of care. 
  • Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promote and professional development. 
  • Develops leadership role within the LPN scope of practice. 
  • Participates in Service Excellence Program.

Minimum Requirements

  • LPN Diploma
  • Active NC LPN License or compact state
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Exposure and practice of medication administration from educational preparation and student clinical practice.

     

Pay Range

  • LPN III pay range > $24.69 - $35.99
  • Final compensation will depend on career ladder placement (LPN I - III)

  • This position is full-time (36hrs/week) night shift with rotating weekends and holidays.
