Job Summary:

A Place at Home - North Texas is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to join our team of passionate professionals providing high-quality in-home care services to seniors in Allen, TX. Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with medication management, mobility, and ambulation as needed
Prepare meals, handle light housekeeping, and perform laundry duties as required
Provide emotional support and engage in conversation with clients to promote mental and emotional well-being
Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in client condition to the on-call nurse
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Valid CNA certification in the state of Texas (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to lift, transfer, and move clients safely and comfortably
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
