We are a respected skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Brooklyn, NY, currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our leadership team. This is a key role for a passionate RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to lead clinical care while making a lasting impact on resident outcomes.
Position Overview:
As the RN Unit Manager, you will oversee the clinical operations of your assigned nursing unit, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, supporting care planning, and maintaining communication with residents, families, and medical professionals.
Schedule:

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Day Shift)

On-Call availability required (as scheduled for emergencies and urgent needs)
Qualifications:
-
Current and valid RN license in the state of New York (Required)

Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting (Preferred)

Prior experience as a Unit Manager or Charge Nurse (Preferred)

Knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage staff effectively while maintaining a resident-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily nursing care on the assigned unit

Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely interventions

Oversee staff schedules, performance, and training
-
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with care plans

Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
-
Provide on-call support during off-hours as needed
