RN UNIT MANAGER

Polaris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a beautiful 100 bed facility with a small vent unit, located at the Milford Wellness Village, has an unique opportunity for the right person.

This full time position is scheduled Monday through Friday!

We are looking for a RN Unit Manager who has strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills to manage the unit.

Responsibilities for the RN Unit Manager Include:

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care.
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating changes in the patient’s condition.
  • Documents the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
  • Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard.
  • Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
  • Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor including establishing priorities.

Qualifications for the RN Unit Manger:

  • Must be a licensed RN with valid license.
  • Familiarity with Federal, State, and local long term care requirements.
  • Two years professional nursing experience.
