Overview

Assistant Nurse Manager - Pediatric Emergency Department

Responsibilities

Responsible for the clinical and operational management of specific Nursing units, ensuring that standards of practice for nursing and patient care are maintained; participates in developing departmental plans and programs as required; collects and provides data on unit activities, PI issues, etc. as required.

Qualifications

3-5 years ED experience
Team oriented
Experience in staff education, orientation, and competency validation
Excellent Communication and organizational skills - can work independently
Strong skills in communication, organization, and independent decision-making
2 years of leadership experience (Charge Nurse or Team Leader)
BSN/MSN
Current competency in Adult and Pediatric emergency care including triage, resuscitation, and CDU Preferred:
Pediatric experience
CEN/CPEN

Pay Range
