Qualifications and Skills: 
  • Prefer 1,000 hours of long-term care with geriatric or chronically ill persons
    • Exceptions to this requirement are for recently licensed Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Personal Care Aid (PCA), 
    • caring for a family member or persons who will only be providing companionship and housekeeping services.
  • Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position.
  • Must have available reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
  • Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by state) and a drug screen.
  • This role is classified as a safety-sensitive position and subject to applicable state and federal regulations.

Experienced Caregiver/CNA short shifts

We are looking for an expereinced caregiver or CNA to fill an immediate need for short shifts of 1-3hs. Experince with Parkinson's and Dementia preferred. SUMMARY: HomeWell Care Services prides in taking in home care services to the next level. As part of our team, you will be offering a personalized program designed to suit people's specific needs. You will be following a written care plan established by a professional Care Manager who will guide you in delivering the highest-level of in-home care. Our Signature Programs are designed by experts to keep people healthy, safe, and independent wherever they call home. From proactively preventing injuries to educating families and communities, you will have the opportunity to build a healthier, happier future for the people you care for. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Able to cover all five weekdays at least, availability during the weekend is a plus. Proof of current physical and TB testing. Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position. Must have available reliable transportation; proof of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance. Must possess excellent communication skills. Be mature, caring, punctual, and reliable. Pass a criminal background check. Provide verifiable professional and personal references. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand a client’s care plan and adequately implement it.
