Summary

Under general direction of nursing leadership, the manager is responsible for planning, organizing and directing of the operations and staff of the Medical/Surgical, ER, and Nursing Supervision team. This position maintains 24 hour responsibility and accountability for the quality of care and services provided to the customers. Additionally, managers have the responsibility and accountability for planning, direction, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care to ensure optimal patient health outcomes in their respective departments. This position links nursing management with nursing care through the application of organization and nursing service policies, procedures, and care delivery model.

The manager attains knowledge and competence reflective of current nursing practice; promotes innovation and futuristic thinking by incorporating evidence based practice and research findings. This position maintains administrative, operational and fiscal responsibility and ensures that procedures are performed in a safe, efficient manner that is cost effective.

Summary Under direct supervision of the provider, will be responsible for patient assessment and care, and maintaining appropriate documentation. This position must have basic knowledge of specialty and/or primary care and able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients. This position is responsible for coordinating care to assure high quality, compassionate patient care is provided. They will maintain and oversee patients at the office locations and will act as the liaison with other organizations and departments.
