RiverSpring Living provides a full range of care solutions including nursing home care, assisted living programs, senior housing, rehabilitation services and specialized services such as elder abuse prevention and memory care.
Position Overview
The Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager has the responsibility and accountability to assist in the administration and coordination of patient /resident care on a 24-hour basis on the all of the units. The Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager manages and supervises the staff activities and ensures staff competencies in the delivery of care in collaboration with the Day Nurse Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Administrative Nurse Managers for weekends, evenings, and nights and other disciplines for all interdisciplinary activities
- Collaborates with the Nursing Compliance Manager for wound care and Infection control program operations, and with the Educators with staff educational activities.
- Is accountable and responsible for key performance indicators in collaboration with the Day Nurse Managers on their assigned units on a 24 hour basis, including pressure ulcers, falls, grievances, staff attendance, timeliness of call bell responses, maintain Facility Quality Measures, and perpetual Survey Preparedness.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a current NYS RN license.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing Required. Bachelor’s Degree or MSN from an accredited university preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year as a staff nurse in a hospital, long-term care facility or other related medical facility, including experience with the Dementia population.
- Must possess a current NYS RN license.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations.
- Must be able to speak, write and read English.
- Strong clinical competencies, communications and writing skills and the ability to manage staff and resources required
Compensation:
- Annual salary: $105,000 - $115,000
