Addendum: The Virtual Triage Nurse (VTN) will screen telephone calls from new and established BMG patients to obtain pertinent health information. Patient responses will then be applied to the appropriate standard triage guideline algorithm and can help direct the appropriate referral, level of care and or self-care advice needed by the patient. Calls received may vary greatly in subject matter and complexity. The VTN will report to the Patient Access & Referral Center (PARC) Manager. All patient interactions will be documented in Beebe's electronic medical record (EMR) promptly. The VTN accepts additional duties or assignments which may include assisting BMG offices with clinical inbox management. The VTN will work either in an individual BMG office or as a part of our PARC team and will maintain clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of clients served.
