A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to serve as a float nurse covering general health rooms across multiple K-12 schools near Kansas City, MO. This contract position is based in Blue Springs and offers a unique opportunity to work autonomously while making a meaningful impact on student health.

Responsibilities include managing health rooms independently after an initial two-week training period with an experienced RN. The nurse will provide care for students from Pre-K through 12th grade, handle a range of health concerns, and maintain accurate electronic charting. Flexibility is essential as schedules vary by site, usually between 7:00 AM2:30 PM and 9:00 AM4:30 PM, with adjustments made weekly based on school activities and staffing needs.

Key qualifications and skills:

Current Missouri RN license required
Recent pediatric experience preferred, ideally from ICU, ER, or school nursing environments
Proven ability to work independently and manage a health room
Comfort working with children of all grade levels, from Pre-K to 12th grade
Proficient with computer charting systems and multitasking in a dynamic setting
Flexible schedule availability to accommodate shifting daily hours

Location: Blue Springs, MO (near Kansas City)
Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
