The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist employs professional nuclear radiological imaging skills to assure quality management of all neonates through geriatric patients and their nuclear medicine studies. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, radiation safety, quality control, and adherence of all NRC and State guidelines. The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides patient services using imaging and applies principles of radiation protection and the ALARA principle to ensure quality management of all aged patients (neonate through geriatric). Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures, provides patient care essential to nuclear procedures, recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and the Medical Staff. Serves as a team lead.

- 4 year Bachelor's Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
