We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified School Nurse (CSN) to support the health and wellness of students in a school-based setting in Elmhurst, IL

Responsibilities:

Perform routine health assessments, including vision, hearing, growth, and immunization checks
Assess students' health needs and identify issues that may affect learning
Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments during school hours
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with state laws and school policies
Educate students and staff on health topics such as nutrition, hygiene, physical fitness, and disease prevention
Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed
Monitor and ensure compliance with state immunization requirements
Organize and oversee health screenings in collaboration with health agencies or professionals
Attend IEP meetings to provide insights on health-related accommodations for students with special needs

Qualifications:

National Certified School Nurse (NCSN) credential
Certification in CPR, First Aid, BLS, or ACLS
Experience working in schools or with children is required
