Job Description

The Resident Care Manager directs, coordinates, and supervises care services provided by care associates for the senior residents. Responsible for ensuring exemplary service is delivered with integrity, dignity, and compassion. May be responsible for medication control and coordination with physicians to ensure care and medications are delivered as directed. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.

 

Availability: Wednesday through Saturday 

Location: Balfour Central Park

Salary: $78,000 to $83,000 annually

 

**LPN Certification is required**

 

**Supervisor experience is preferred**

 

What will I do everyday?

 

  • Responsible for monitoring and evaluating assigned residents and regularly assess levels of care,whenever there is a change in condition and/or to determine whether a resident is no longerappropriate for the setting, notifying Assistant Living Director as required
  • Assist residents with simple requests as needed or find appropriate associate to assist
  • Responsible for effectively supervising departmental operations as directed on a day-to-day basisunder the guidance of the department director or Executive Director
  • Responds in a tactful and timely manner to all residents, family members and/or staff
  • May be responsible for supervising resident medication programs
  • May be asked to monitor all physician orders and ensures they have been followed timely andaccurately
  • Responsible for assisting with scheduling for Care associates
  • Performs other related duties as required

 

 

What will I need to be successful in this role?

 

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • High school graduate required; college course work preferred
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is preferred
  • One to three years’ experience working in senior care

 

 

Special Certifications/Requirements I may need? 

 

  • Must have or be able to obtain the appropriate State license required by law if required
  • CPR Certified preferred
  • Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including Microsoft Officeapplications, internet-based and custom
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities Escorts patients to and from exam rooms, provider offices, and treatment areas.
