Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. The salary range for this position is $191,800 - $256,600 (Annual Rate).

Department Description

Primary Care at China Basin Berry and Waterfront clinics are dedicated to working with patients to stay healthy and being there for patients if they are sick. Our medical care team is made up of physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff including the medical assistant, licensed vocational nurse, registered nurse, and administrative support staff. Care is always available when patients have urgent problems. We are proud to offer primary care for patients across the lifespan with board certified pediatricians and family medicine physicians skilled in disease prevention, health maintenance and diagnosis and treatment of all types of medical problems from acute injuries to chronic, complex conditions.

Required Qualifications

Two or more years of clinical nursing supervisory and/or management experience
Two or more years of RN experience in an ambulatory family practice setting
Strong clinic / center patient care management skills.
Practice management knowledge in scheduling, customer-service methods, regulatory compliance, accreditation requirements, and / or information technology.
Broad knowledge of patient population served and the requirements for the delivery of services.
Strong interpersonal skills to create and maintain a climate for effective communication and collaborative decision making.
Strong leadership, fiscal, and operations management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, management, and staff from all disciplines.
