Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Caregivers to join our team at Seniors Helping Seniors KC North. As a Caregiver, you will provide companionship and support to seniors in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Our ideal candidate is a mature and caring individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation
  • Assist with medication management and ensure timely delivery of medications
  • Engage in activities that stimulate mental and emotional well-being, such as puzzles, games, and conversation
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed
  • Provide transportation to appointments and errands, as needed
  • Communicate effectively with seniors, family members, and caregivers to ensure seamless care

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in caregiving or a related field
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, move, and transfer clients, if necessary
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license, if applicable
