Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients.
Initiates and documents appropriate interventions; evaluates and records patient/family response and prescribes therapies as indicated.
Performs procedures with minimal supervision.
Assesses patient/family needs and provides education.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner
- Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program for nursing education
- Current Minnesota RN license and current certification as Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of three years of experience as a practicing NP
- Experience and knowledge in the management of the physiologic and psychological effect of a cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment strongly preferred
- Prefer previous experience in oncology
Physician Assistant
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Minimum of three years' experience as a practicing Physician Assistant

- Current MN state licensure and current CPR certification required

Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment Depending on the market, the ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages not limited to but including Spanish Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires. Epic experience preferred Education Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role. Or in select states, Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related master’s degree or equivalent experience together with Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role. Anticipated Weekly Hours 20 Time Type Part time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $46.03 - $99.14 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
