The School Nurse is a vital member of the Nelson School community, established to oversee the individual health needs of our students. In this afternoon role, you will ensure a safe and healthy learning environment by providing clinical care, managing health records, and acting as a trusted medical resource for students, families, and staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse with a background in pediatric or community health:
  • Clinical Experience: Associate Degree with a minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience under your own valid RN license. Preferred areas include pediatrics, public health, community health, emergency care, or primary care.

  • Education: BSN degree preferred. Candidates with an Associate Degree must be enrolled (or eligible to enroll) in a BSN program to be completed within 6 years of hire.

  • Licensure: Must hold a current New Hampshire RN license (or be eligible for NH RN endorsement) and current CPR certification.

  • Certification: NH Department of Education (DOE) Certification is required.
