Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing or a baccalaureate degree in an allied field
  • New Hampshire or multistate RN license
  • Current standard first aid card and CPR card
  • At least 1 year of prior professional nursing experience, preferably in school nursing


Job Description:
  • Contract through the school year - 35 to 40 hours per week
  • Contract follows the academic district calendar
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to students and staff members as needed.
  • Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify health concerns and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic illnesses or special health needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.
  • Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics, including illness prevention, nutrition, and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address health concerns and promote a healthy school environment.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and serve as a resource for school health policies and procedures.
  • Stay up to date on current nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines related to school health services.


Salary:
  • $1,575-$1,750 per week
