A full-time Health Room Nurse position is available in the Saint Petersburg, FL area, reporting directly to the District RN Supervisor. This role offers a valuable opportunity for an experienced RN BSN to independently manage a school health clinic, providing essential care and support to students throughout the school year on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering medications and managing diabetic monitoring
• Conducting student triage and emergency response
• Maintaining accurate records for immunizations and health documentation
• Providing first aid and health assessments
• Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff
• Collaborating with other clinic nurses as part of a healthcare team
• Supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to ensure quality care delivery

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Valid Florida RN License is required
• Pediatric nursing experience is preferred, though not mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full-time availability for the contract duration
