Director of Nursing (DON) Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all nursing services and staff within the facility.
  • Ensure high-quality patient care is delivered in compliance with state regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the nursing department.

Director of Nursing (DON) Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in Pennsylvania.
  • Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role in long-term care or skilled nursing settings.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, including state and federal laws.
  • Ability to manage a team and resolve conflicts with professionalism and empathy.
