Essential Functions:

Under direction and in accordance with established standards provides direct patient care.
Serves as lead worker
Assist physician with rounds.
Reviews member medical records to assure that physician orders are posted, medication and member care treatment and observations are charted.
Verify number and classification of staff available to assign/reassign.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires (a) graduation from an approved nursing education program resulting in an associate or diploma degree in nursing and two years of progressively responsible professional nursing experience; OR (b) a bachelor's degree in nursing and one year of professional nursing experience; OR (c) a master's degree in nursing.
Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.

Requires ability to meet all agency vaccine/health-related policies and guidance.
Requires ability acquire and maintain Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate.

Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate.
This position is considered heavy work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(d)). Heavy work involves lifting no more than 100 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
