You will work beside other CNAs & Nurses to provide cares for our residents in long term care, rehab and memory care. Pay: $18.70 - $21.56 per hour depending on experience.

Shift Differential:
Evenings $2 / hour depending on experience.
Nights $3 / hour depending on experience.

CNA Qualifications:

Current MN Nursing Assistant certification required.
Must be at least 16 years of age.

Located in Burnsville, just 20 minutes south of Minneapolis, MN, near the 35 E and 35 W conjunctions. This unit is a 26 Bed that unit cares for adult orthopedics, spine, total joint replacements, general surgery, post-surgical recovery and medical patients. This position is a .8 FTE, working 64 hours per 2 week pay period. This position works 8-hour shifts, every other weekend rotation (Fri,Sat,Sun), and on the night 11:00pm-7:30am shift. The Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting the professional nurse/caregiver in the delivery of patient care, transporting patient and/or equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and the reordering and stocking of supplies. The Nursing Assistant does not work autonomously but works under the direction of a professional nurse. The Nursing Assistant may be given a patient care assignment based on unit needs and the discretion of the manager/charge nurse. Provides basic patient care by performing routine duties to include: Personal grooming, bathing, toileting, Feeding, Skin care needs (clean and sterile dressing changes), applying ointments/creams, Oral hygiene, Specimen collection/testing, Position/ambulating, Changing linens, Promptly answers call lights.
