Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate resident care with a hands-on approach.
  • Develop, review, and revise nursing and clinical policies to ensure quality care.
  • Provide flexibility in staffing needs during shortages or emergencies.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and address disciplinary situations to uphold high standards of care.
  • Manage and monitor daily operations while multitasking effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with Long-Term Care Regulations.
  • Lead recruitment efforts by conducting interviews and hiring qualified staff.
  • Make independent decisions as needed to ensure quality care.
  • Focus on customer service and foster collaboration across departments to support patient care.
  • Promote a culture of respect, professional growth, and encouragement for all nursing staff.
  • Monitor cost controls, including the usage of supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
