Position Summary
The Experience Nurse Specialist II position oversees service management operations to ensure relationships with patients and families are optimal.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the service management system to intake and process compliments, comments and concerns from patients and families.
- Maintains a timely intake process through multiple portals and reviews for areas of improvement.
- Utilizes the designated system to document concerns.
- Triages complex information for appropriate follow up.
- Conducts reviews of the electronic health record (EHR) as needed.
- Maintains excellent communication with key partners such as Risk Management, Peer Review, and Medical Staff Support, Quality, and Marketing and Communication.
- Collaborates with the Central Billing Office to investigate billing disputes and make billing adjustments as needed.
- Collaborates with operational, administrative, and executive leaders at all levels to address issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree is required- or higher.
- 2 - 3 years experience in patient advocacy, customer service and /or related field recommended.
- Current NC RN licensure.
