Position Summary

The Experience Nurse Specialist II position oversees service management operations to ensure relationships with patients and families are optimal.

Responsibilities

Coordinates the service management system to intake and process compliments, comments and concerns from patients and families.
Maintains a timely intake process through multiple portals and reviews for areas of improvement.
Utilizes the designated system to document concerns.
Triages complex information for appropriate follow up.
Conducts reviews of the electronic health record (EHR) as needed.
Maintains excellent communication with key partners such as Risk Management, Peer Review, and Medical Staff Support, Quality, and Marketing and Communication.
Collaborates with the Central Billing Office to investigate billing disputes and make billing adjustments as needed.
Collaborates with operational, administrative, and executive leaders at all levels to address issues.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree is required- or higher.
2 - 3 years experience in patient advocacy, customer service and /or related field recommended.
Current NC RN licensure.
