Position Description:

Eastman Healthcare and Rehab is searching for motivated, compassionate individuals to join our team. The primary purpose of your job position is to provide Residents with routine daily nursing care delivered in a compassionate attitude and in accordance with our established nursing care procedures and philosophies as may be directed by your supervisors.

CNA Requirements:

  • Must be able to bend, walk, stand, lift, carry, push and handle equipment, supplies or patients exceeding 50 pounds

  • Must function independently, have personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with Residents, employees, and support agencies.

CNA Qualifications:

CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) Heart of Georgia Nursing Home, a Skilled Nursing Facility, has full-time and PRN openings for CNA (Certified Nurse Assistants). The CNA will interact directly with our residents, providing comfort and transportation, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living. Successful candidates are compassionate, dependable, and energetic individuals who strive for nursing excellence, have high standards of integrity and ethics, and enjoy working in a team environment. Heart of Georgia Nursing Home offers 8 and 12-hour shifts. Available hours: Full Time: Days (7:00AM-3:00PM) (7A-7P) Full Time: Afternoon Shift (3:00PM-11:00PM) Full Time: Nights (11:00PM-7:00AM) (7P-7A) PRN: all shifts CNA Responsibilities: Assist with activities of daily living. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning and ambulating patients and providing hydration as ordered. Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos and showers Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient’s chart Assist the nurses and other staff as needed Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.
