CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant)

Heart of Georgia Nursing Home, a Skilled Nursing Facility, has full-time and PRN openings for CNA (Certified Nurse Assistants). The CNA will interact directly with our residents, providing comfort and transportation, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living. Successful candidates are compassionate, dependable, and energetic individuals who strive for nursing excellence, have high standards of integrity and ethics, and enjoy working in a team environment. Heart of Georgia Nursing Home offers 8 and 12-hour shifts.

Available hours:
Full Time: Days (7:00AM-3:00PM) (7A-7P)
Full Time: Afternoon Shift (3:00PM-11:00PM)

Full Time: Nights (11:00PM-7:00AM) (7P-7A)
PRN: all shifts

CNA Responsibilities:

Assist with activities of daily living. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning and ambulating patients and
providing hydration as ordered.

Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos and showers

Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient’s chart

Assist the nurses and other staff as needed

Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.

CNA Requirements & Skills:

High School diploma or GED

Completion of state-approved CNA certification of training course (Must have Georgia Certification).

Previous experience as a CNA preferred.

Basic computer skills

Ability to work as part of team and multitask

Good communication skills

Pay rate is determined by years experience.
