Providing healthcare and wellness support in a K-12 school setting, this role requires a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) experienced in school nursing. The position is a contracted assignment for the current school year, based in Andover, MN. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and health education. Manage chronic conditions and acute illnesses, ensuring a safe and healthy environment. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health plans. Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with regulatory standards. Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide first aid as necessary. Promote health and wellness programs within the school community. Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with a valid state license to practice in Minnesota. Experience in school nursing, preferably in a K-12 educational setting. Strong knowledge of pediatric and adolescent health issues. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
