Penn Medicine Princeton Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Rehab Department in Plainsboro, NJ. This is a Per diem day shift opportunity, and the ideal candidate will be available to work Mon-Friday 7a – 5:30p - no weekends and no holidays.

Tier III requirement: 3-5 shifts per scheduling period.

Summary:

A cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation nurse is a healthcare professional who works in a medically supervised specialty, focusing on cardiac and pulmonary diagnoses using a multidisciplinary approach to deliver a comprehensive rehabilitation program. The registered nurse assists in providing therapy for patients with chronic respiratory disease, optimizes cardiovascular disease risk reduction, and promotes adherence to healthy life-style behaviors. The nurse will demonstrate a skill set including EKG interpretation, physical and psychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, as well as providing education and behavioral counseling for positive patient outcomes.

Credentials:

Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
Registered Nurse - NJ (Required)
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License (required prior to first day of hire) required National Nursing Certification preferred

Education or Equivalent Experience:

BSN
Tele, ED, or critical care experience
ACLS
2-4 years RN experience

Salary Range:

$49.96 - $68.99/Hourly
