A Registered Nurse is needed to support a K-12 school in Carpinteria, CA, on a contract basis for the current school year. This role is ideal for a nurse experienced in school nursing and case management, focusing on a triennial reassessment for a student with medical needs. Responsibilities include: Conducting a comprehensive triennial reassessment for a student, including updating health care plans and coordinating medical aide services Meeting with the student and parents at least once in person to address and evaluate ongoing health concerns Providing nursing support and case management as needed to ensure the students medical needs are met within the school setting Coordinating communication between medical providers, school staff, and the family Working 3 hours per week with flexible schedulinghours can be distributed throughout the week or completed in one day Starting as soon as possible, with an anticipated start date of June 3rd, 2026 Qualifications: Valid RN licensure Experience in school nursing and case management preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school personnel Strong organizational and communication skills This position offers flexibility with hybrid or fully in-person options to best accommodate the needs of the student and family.
