Licensed Practical Nurse

 

The Bronx Gardens Rehabilitation & Nursing  Center is currently seeking a Full -Time LPN's for day (7am-3pm), evening (3pm-11pm) night (11pm-7am) AND Weekend shifts to join our dynamic organization.

OVERVIEW:

Under the leadership of the Registered Nurse, the LPN will be providing coordinated care to residents in a skilled nursing facility.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Provide direct care responsibilities to patients

·         Supervise CNA’s  

·         Administer medications and treatments timely and according to policy

·         Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders

·         Follow established procedure for charting

·         Complete patient assessments, coordination of care

·         Identify and reports changes in condition

·         Follows environmental health & safety and sanitation standards and procedures

·         Oversees clinical and non-clinical acute operations and continuum of care

REQUIREMENTS:

• ·         Valid LPN License in New York
•  
• ·         CPR/BLS certified
•  
• ·         1 + year nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home or other healthcare setting
