Responsibilities

Perform basic patient care activities for students under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Perform basic monitoring of students including vital signs, weight and height. Also conduct state mandated screenings such as vision and hearing.
  • Assist with medication administration under appropriate clinical guidelines.
  • Document data for review by Registered Nurse (RN). Perform basic clerical functions.
  • Support in maintaining a clean and orderly environment, and order/stock supplies.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
