Visiting Angels is Seeking a Compassionate Home Caregiver to Join Our Growing Team!

Position Benefits:

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide non medical support to senior clients in their homes 
  • Supply personal care and hygiene assistance; including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting  
  • Provide friendly companionship and socialization 
  • Help the client with mobility related challenges, such as help with walking and/or transfers
  • Issue medication reminders, where required 
  • Transport clients to doctor's appointments and errands 
  • Perform meal preparation, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping duties

Position Requirements: 

  • Valid Driver’s License, lease/own your own vehicle, and provide proof of current auto insurance
  • Perform all personal care and hygiene assistance functions as described above 
  • Submit to state/national criminal background check, state fingerprinting, and drug screening
  • Able to transfer patients and provide needed mobility assistance, including turning immobile patients who are bed-ridden 
  • 1 year senior care giving experience is preferred
