ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager (RN) to provide clinical and operational leadership within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The Unit Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of their assigned nursing unit, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and staff support.
Unit Manager (RN) RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and coordinate nursing care on the assigned unit.
Clinical review of referrals and admissions to ensure appropriate placement and care planning.
Ensure resident care plans are implemented and updated accurately.
Lead and mentor nursing staff to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care.
Monitor staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments to maintain adequate coverage.
Conduct clinical rounds and review documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Support infection control, quality assurance, and survey readiness efforts.
Participate in performance evaluations, staff education, and corrective actions when needed.
Unit Manager (RN) QUALIFICATIONS:
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in long-term care or post-acute setting.
Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care.
Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
