A middle school opportunity is available in Anoka, MN, requiring a Certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) with PA certification. This full-time contract position will run for the current school year from ASAP through June 9, 2025, supporting one student with mild to moderate disabilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver instruction on self-advocacy, expressive and receptive language, hearing assistive technology, vocabulary, listening, and transition skills.
- Evaluate the student's academic and behavioral progress regularly.
- Collaborate on and assist with Individualized Education Program (IEP) plans.
- Provide tailored support to meet the student's unique learning needs.
Desired qualifications:
- PA TDHH certification is required.
- Experience teaching students with mild to moderate hearing impairments.
- Ability to conduct situational assessments and implement targeted strategies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
