JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the administration of anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in (1) Pre-Anesthetic preparation and evaluation; (2) Anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence; (3) Post Anesthesia Care: (4) Peri-Anesthetic and clinical support functions. Works collaboratively under the anesthesiologist and the overall direction of the OR Manager, Director of Surgical Services and Vice President of Patient Care Services.

JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirements:
1.    Schedule is 5, 8-hour days per week (M-F), with call rotation. Call is 1 in every 6 weekends and includes first, second, and third call during the week and on weekend. CRNAs have post-first call day off. 
2.    No in-house call, must be able to get to the Medical Center in 20 minutes. 
3.    Currently 11 Anesthesiologist, and 25 CRNAs in the group.
4.    Medically directed.
