About the Unit

Outpatient mental health office. Roles at this clinic are more clinical in nature. Common tasks include rooming patients, vital signs, questionnaires as needed, answering phones, and doing in basket work. MAs in this clinic also help get patients connected to their virtual visits (this position is on-site).

Scope of work

Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Successful completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program Required
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
  • One of the following Required within 120 Days
