Patient Flow Coordinator Position Summary

The RN Patient Access Center Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of bed assignments and utilization based on admissions, transfers, and discharges and the overall movement of patients through the organization in a safe and efficient manner. The Coordinator will improve the communication and coordination between patient care units, departments, clinical teams, and external organizations/providers.

Patient Flow Coordinator Position Requirements

Education

  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred

Licensure

  • Licensed and current registration as a Registered Nurse in the state in which they live.

Experience

  • A minimum of five (5) years combined acute/critical care experience is required
  • Previous experience within a supervisory role (clinical supervisor, manager or nursing supervisor) is preferred. - other supervisory experience will be considered based on the overall experience of the candidate.

Patient Flow Coordinator Work Schedule

  • 12 hour shifts.
  • Weekend rotation.
  • Holiday rotation.

Patient Flow Coordinator Benefits

  • At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members wor (king at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
