Part-Time Companion Needed for Senior with Dementia — Consistent Weekly Schedule We are seeking a compassionate caregiver with dementia care experience to provide companionship and support for a friendly male client on an ongoing basis. The focus of this role is safety, engagement, and gentle redirection when needed. About the Client Our client enjoys: Reading and conversation Walking his dog Watching birds Going on short local outings (lunch, parks, local attractions) You will also assist with caring for his medium-sized, friendly dog, so you must be comfortable around pets. What We’re Looking For Dementia experience (highly preferred) Ability to calmly redirect during moments of confusion or frustration Exceptional patience and kindness Reliability and consistency Comfort around a friendly dog Weekly Ongoing Schedule This client has a steady, long-term schedule: Monday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Thursday: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Total available hours: ~ 34 hours per week We are open to hiring one caregiver or splitting the schedule between two caregivers if you are only available for part of these shifts.
