A Certified School Nurse is needed to provide full-time onsite support across multiple middle school locations in Aurora, IL. This contract position offers the opportunity to flexibly assist in up to four schools, working alongside onsite Registered Nurses (RNs) and supporting students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care to students in a school environment, promoting health and safety
Support onsite RNs and provide coverage across four different middle school sites as needed
Assist with student IEPs by providing nursing assessments and documentation
Monitor student health concerns and communicate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
Maintain accurate health records and adhere to confidentiality standards
Implement health education and preventive strategies within the school setting

Qualifications:

Valid Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) license required
Experience working as a school nurse preferred, especially in middle school settings
Ability to manage a flexible caseload across multiple locations
Strong communication and organizational skills
Commitment to supporting student health and wellness in an educational environment
