The Benefis CNA Education Assistance Program provides candidates interested in starting a career in healthcare with the opportunity to complete a CNA training program. Candidates that are awarded the scholarship asked for a one year work commitment to Benefis and must accept a CNA position with Benefis Health System at a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Medical Unit - Surgical Unit - Ortho/Neuro Unit - Oncology Unit - Rehab Unit - Progressive Cardiovascular Unit (PCVU) - ICU - Patient Flow (Float Pool)

Candidates that accept positions with any of the Benefis Hospital Units listed above may have the opportunity to begin working as a Patient Care Assistant prior to and/or during completion of the CNA class.

Benefis Senior Services Units

Eastview - Westview - Grandview Cottages - Grandview Assisted Living - Grandview Memory Care

Candidates that accept positions with any of the Benefis Senior Services Units listed above may have the opportunity to begin working as a Resident Care Attendant prior to and/or during completion of the CNA class. Candidates that are employed as Resident Care attendants with Benefis Senior Services while taking the CNA class are able to submit their class schedule to department leadership to be compensated for their class hours.

RN Clinical Nurse Educator/CNA Program Instructor Cayuga Nursing and Rehabilitation Center – Ithaca, NY Pay Rate up to $41.50/hr w/ shift differential + Inquire about Sign on Bonus Cayuga Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse Educator to develop and deploy standardized education and training based on nursing process and practice. The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct all in-service educational programs throughout the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations. The RN Clinical Nurse Educator would also be responsible for instructing the CNA Program. Responsibilities Plan, develop, direct, evaluate, and coordinate educational and on-the-job training programs. Provide leadership in formulating the goals and objectives of the in-service educational programs of this facility.
