POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the guidance and supervision of the Director, the clinical associate will perform retrospective reviews for payors, utilizing the current documentation system and enter the appropriate ICD/CPT and DRG when indicated.  May be occasions when it will be necessary to work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and/or on-call/call-back status. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. 


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.     5 years of varied clinical experience.

2.     Basic Computer skills are required, additional college hours preferred

3.     Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

 

EDUCATION / LICENSURE:

1.     LVN licensed in the State of TX

2.     Coding experience preferred,  Inpatient or outpatient
