Levine Children’s Specialty Center is an outpatient pediatric practice that cares for patients from the ages of 0-21. We have 8 different pediatric specialties in our practice including genetics, rheumatology, surgery, infectious disease, nephrology, physical medicine and rehab, pulmonology, and GI. Our clinical team includes nurses, medical assistants, radiology techs, doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dietitians, social workers, respiratory therapists, and phlebotomists.

 We’re Looking For: 

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

One year of Registered Nurse preferred.

What You’ll Do: 

Performs telephone triage with diverse patient population.

Based on eligibility. 7p-7a 36-hours per week Pay Range $34.90 - $52.35 Located on campus at Atrium Health Union in Monroe, NC, Atrium Health Jesse Helms Nursing Center is an award-winning nursing and rehabilitation facility with 70 beds.We provide short term rehab, long term care, palliative care, and hospice care and are committed to enhancing the quality of life and well-being of all our residents . RN teammates at this facility, in addition to routine RN responsibilities such as medication administration and assessments, will be responsible for safety rounding, admissions and discharges, and chart audits.The leadership at this facility encourages the growth and development of their team. Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnoses or issues. Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation. Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes. Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes. Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with any applicable legal or policy parameters or principles. Physical Requirements Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak English in good, understandable terms. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch. Finger dexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate. Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions. Physical abilities testing required. Additional department specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader. Education, Experience and Certifications Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred. BLS required per policy guidelines. Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside or; if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as your primary state of residency, meet the licensure requirements in your home state; or for Non-National License Compact states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state where the RN works. Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.
