MaineHealth Wound Care Clinic in Portland, Maine is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our growing, fast-paced team. This role provides direct, on-site patient care for individuals with a wide range of acute and chronic wound conditions.

Summary
The Registered Nurse II – Ambulatory Care-MH PD role uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.

MaineHealth Wound Care Clinic in Portland, Maine is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our growing, fast-paced team. This role provides direct, on-site patient care for individuals with a wide range of acute and chronic wound conditions.
Position Details
- Per diem position
- Day shift
- Monday–Friday clinical setting (no weekends or nights)
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with various types of wounds
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary wound care team
- Perform wound assessments, treatments, and patient education
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with standards of care
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
- Prior wound care experience strongly preferred
- Strong clinical skills, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification require or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- Experience: One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role.
