Saturday and Sunday! Our Weekend Track program allows for you to work another job during the week or spend time with your family!

Are you currently in school working towards your BSN or MSN? This position allows you to dedicate your week to school and weekends to work and be eligible for FULL-TIME BENEFITS. This is your chance to get administrative clinical experience - manage resident care delivery across all units, be the clinical reference nurse administrator in absence of unit leaders on the overnight shift! Our team is willing to train nurses who are looking to advance their nursing career to a leadership role!

What you will do:

  • Responsible and accountable to utilizing the nursing process to diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential problems of individuals or groups. Leads and supervisors clinical staff.

Responsibilities:

  • On behalf of the Director of Nursing, provides for the continuity of nursing services in the development, implementation and evaluation of quality nursing care to residents and families

  • Perform assessments on elder's that may have had a fall, a decline in condition or perhaps suicidal comments

  • Act as the senior liaison and administrative person on the campus and address staffing and family concerns

  • Asked to participate in auditing or QA activities

  • Demonstrates the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees

What you will need:

Required:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York

  • Associate’s degree in nursing or Degree of Nursing from an accredited school

Preferred:

  • 1 year or more of experience in a skilled nursing setting as a RN

  • The RN Supervisor must be able to lead and supervise a team of different backgrounds and possess strong de-escalation skills.

  • The RN Supervisor must have excellent time management and organizational skills

  • The RN Supervisor must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written and possess strong critical thinking skills to problem solve

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $36.50 - $59.75 per hour

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
