Shifts: 7am-3pm 3pm-11pm 11pm-7am Duties & Responsibilities: · Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. · Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff. · Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support. · Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care. · Other duties as needed. This is the level 3 job in the nursing support career ladder. Responsibilities Uses a systematic process to provide/modify care and patient/family education. Assists health care team with simple procedures; prepares supplies & equipment; provides patient/family support, assists in positioning patients, sets up/or remove equipment etc. Under direction, performs a variety of tasks associated with generalized patient care (vital signs, feeding, mobility, drainage, and personal hygiene: bath, dressing, bed making/linen changes etc.).
