Position Overview:
The Director of Nursing (DON) will oversee all aspects of nursing services, including staff management, compliance, and quality of care. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strong clinical background and a passion for long-term care.

Director of Nursing Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring excellent clinical care.
Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance.
Oversee resident care plans, ensuring they meet individual needs and comply with standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes.
Manage nursing department budgets, staffing schedules, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
Lead quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of infection control.
Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development.

Director of Nursing Qualifications:

Valid RN license in New Jersey.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN); Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing management experience, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, including state and federal guidelines.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
