Qualifications for HICU® Health Services Hospital at Home ICU Nurses:

Have a current license as a Registered Nurse
Have a least one year of verifiable work experience as an RN
NICU, PICU, ICU, or home care trach/vent experience preferred
Demonstrated competence in infusion and tracheostomy/ventilator care (demonstrated in home or lab)

Participates in management team meetings as indicated to discuss census changes, resident changes in status or care need, or complaints or concerns. May assist in evaluating work performance of nursing personnel and implements discipline according to operational policies and as directed. Informs appropriate departments of concerns or complaints and files grievances as necessary. Reports any incidents or unusual occurrences to the unit manager, assistant director or nursing or director of nursing and participates in the investigative process as needed.
