As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara North by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

Checking time clock punch records daily against master schedules and noting the appropriate changes. Signing time correction forms for events such as missing meal periods or forgetting to clock in/out. Utilizing computer software to prepare, change and update the master schedule. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including but not limited to; weekend and holiday rotation and work the on-call schedule rotation. This position may require the occasional need to work the floor if a license is held for positions such as a QMA or CNA.
