Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic LPN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable nurse to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will:

Provide appropriate information to assist the Registered Nurse in the preparation and maintenance of an effective patient care plan.
Reinforce instructions given to the patient by the physician and Registered Nurse and refers new needs for instruction to the Registered Nurse.
May administer prescribe medications to patients under the specific policies and procedures.
Taking and recording the patients’ vital signs such as: blood pressure, temperature, weight, height and prescription.
Taking lab samples from patients including blood and urine samples.

What qualifications you will need:

Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN)
Vocational School Graduate
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Job Summary and Qualifications The Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services. In collaboration with the RN and other members of the care team, the LPN/LVN provides individualized, comprehensive care consistent with the scope and standards of the specialty. What you will do in this role: Provide direct, evidence-based care to patients as directed by the physician or RN. Assist with procedures, monitoring, or other functions as directed. Perform lab and procedural tests within the LVN/LPN scope of practice, after demonstrating competency. Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Serve as a resource to department staff, students and volunteers to help deliver quality patient care.
