Your Role on the Team Position Summary: CLIN NURSE 4 Provides assistance to surgeons as needed during the surgical procedures. Assumes role of first assistant on surgeries that require an assistant. Provides intra-operative retraction, hemastosis, and proper suturing to promote wound alignment and tissue healing without complications. Is able to perform the duties of a circulator and scrub when the need arises. Maintains clinical competence. What It Takes to be Successful Required Qualifications: Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the OR. Has knowledge of growth and development over the life span. Speaks, reads and writes English. Current CA RN licensure, CPR and CNOR. BSN or higher in Nursing for all external candidates. Minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care operating room or an outpatient operating room preferred. RNFA qualifications.
